About Jackie

Jackie Argyle was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She took her first painting class in 2017 as an adult working in the IT field who knew almost nothing about art. She fell in love almost instantaneously, and has been learning how to paint ever since.

In 2024, she graduated from the Modern Color Atelier program at Gage Academy of Art, studying under Kimberly Trowbridge. In April of 2025, a series of her works were showcased in her first group show at Boxx Gallery. This year, she began teaching at Path With Art, a Seattle based nonprofit. She is thrilled to be teaching adults with an interest in learning a new craft, as she knows firsthand the transformative power of art-making.

Her works focus on observing the quiet, small moments in life and finding intrigue in every corner of the world. She loves painting nature, people, and domestic scenes.
